JAPAN LOOKS to DETHRONE SENEGAL in 2010
In 2010, returning Champion Senegal will need to get by not only the US Team but also the Japanese Beach Soccer Team. Beach soccer teams from Nigeria, Switzerland, Italy, Egypt, Uruguay, and Ivory Coast have also expressed strong interest, so the competition will be the strongest ever.

The Head of the Japanese Beach Soccer Network (JBSN), Mr. Hiro Ito, came to Southern California in 2009 to network with the event organizers and watched 22,000 people descend upon the beaches in Oceanside CA. The three day festival ended with The Senegal National Team defeating Team PUGG (US National Team) by a score of 4-3 to win The US Open West Championship.

Mr. Ito recently announced the participation of the Japanese Team for one of the 2010 Festival Dates. "We are excited about continuing a relationship with Mr. Ito from JBSN and the participation of the Japanese team will only strengthen the competition", shared Marc Koehler, Managing Director of TBSC.
